Don't know what to do

So a lady in my ward asked if I'd be interested in babysitting for her on Thursdays while she works. It would be from 8:30am - 5:30pm. I'd have 1 one year old and 1 four year old. Then I'd have her six year old from 4 until 5:30pm. She pays $50 a day. At first I was all for it but now I'm wondering if $50 is worth it. What do you think? Is $50 a day worth babysitting 3 kids?

Venting

Some people just need to mind their own business! So with in the last few days I've had 2 different people come up to me in the store and correct me about being a parent.

Day one: I was in the produce section and I of course have Ethan with me so I always have to find ways to entertain him while we shop. He LOVES to help me so I give him a bag and start to put apples in it. Some random lady comes up to me gasping and says "you shouldn't give your child a bag." I look at her and say "I'm watching him and he's being my little helper today" She then replies and says "well you just never know what will happen, he could easily choke on that bag." I was so mad!!! Mind your own business lady! First of all I'd like to think that I'm a good mother and know what I can give my child. Secondly have you ever been shopping with a 1 year old? It's hell!

Day two: I was looking at the vitamins at walmart and Ethan was at my feet unloading all of the ensure packages off the bottom shelf. I decided that it's no big deal because it quick and easy to pick up, the bottles are plastic and it's keeping him busy while I'm looking for some vitamins. Once again some random lady comes up to me gasping. She said "do you know what your child is doing?" YES! I have eyes that watch him constantly! I looked at her and said "yes, I know. I'll clean it up." She then says "well I just don't want him to get hurt." Do think seriously think I'd let my child play with something that would hurt him? Give me a brake! So she left, I found my vitamins and Ethan and I cleaned up his mess. He loved helping me clean it up and clapped his hands and cheered for being a good helper.

People blow me away! Mind your own business!

a little blog make-over

Hi girlies.  You may have noticed I gave our blog a little makeover in the hopes that it will spark a renewed interest for us to post here.  I'll make more of an effort, for sure.

I thought it'd be cute, in the sidebar, to use pictures of us when we were little, so I did mine.  Email me yours so I can put them in.  Until then, I'll be using your goofy pictures from our original design.

Love you girls!!

What was for dinner last Wednesday

I made a semi-homemade pizza last week. I used pepperoni, pineapple, olives, cheese, mushrooms, ham, fresh green peppers & fresh tomatoes. The crust was a pre-made Boboli crust & the sauce is just a little plain tomato sauce. It was so quick to throw together & heat up, but the best part was how delicious it was!! Everything seemed so fresh, healthy, & TASTY!!

When I took it out of the oven Trinity gasped in excitement, gave me a huge hug, & said, "That is the best pizza mom!" It was pretty cute. Brinley picked off each topping & ate what she wanted separately, but Trinity probably would have eaten the whole pizza if I'd have let her!

So Yummy!

Sunday I made the yummiest dinner EVER! I found this blog that had a recipe for Cafe Rio pork so I tried it and it was soooo good! Plus it made tons of left overs. We've had burritos, salads, quesadilla, and nachos. All with one 4lb pork roast and we still have some left. So I highly recommend you girls give this a try.

Here a few things that I did different. I used a 4lb roast instead of a 5-6lb roast. (4lb was all I could find) I used mild taco sauce and I bought tortillas from Bajio. They are $3.99 for a dozen and totally worth the money.

Oh and I also made the ranch dressing but I didn't add cilantro (Jared hates cilantro) and I used ranch dip seasoning cuz it's what I had on hand. But I think it taste good!
