What is is about Meg & Tom?

I made another failed attempt to camp out in our spare bedroom until everything was organized and put away. Did I mention it was a failed attempt...yea. Anyway that isn't the point. I hate silence, it think it is a curse, I always have to have some kind of background noise. When I sleep I like to leave a fan on, when I'm driving the radio is always on, and when I'm cleaning I put in a familiar movie (by familiar I mean with the hope that it won't destract me from what I'm doing). Is that wierd? So...I'm getting off the point again. While I was working on the spare bedroom I popped "You've Got Mail" into the VCR. I have seen that movie probably 20 times, but for some reason I could not pull myself away from it.



Maybe it was because it was 11:00 at night, everyone was asleep, and I had no one to bother me. I got lost in the movie and was laughing out loud to myself as I watched it! There were SO many little things that I found hillarious! I also decided that I love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. I don't think that there is a movie that either one of them have done that I don't like. I love the movie Kate & Leopold, I love Big, and of course Sleepless in Seatle. I think I might just watch it again tonight. Ok, not really it's already 11pm, but TOMORROW!

New Purse

Ok I SERIOUSLY needed a new purse you guys. I've been lugging the same UGLY one around for way too long. So check me out! This is my new purse, ala Target.

What do we think? I think its totally me. It's the PERFECT length not to fall off my shoulder.   PLUS . . . I can extend the strap and wear it hands-free when I'm shopping or traveling.  I'm in love with it.

Fantastic Friday Flashback!!!

I found these pictures when flipping through my photo albums & knew I had to post them for Flashback Friday!! I am so glad you guys talked me into going up to SLC when the Olympics were there. Do you remember me being so paranoid that there was going to be some terrorist attack? Yea...I would have missed that awesome experience if it weren't for you two!! (I have so many more pictures of this, but I tried to keep it to a minnimum) Britt do you remember that the younger guy had his arms around us & we were like...uh...SCARY! Shan, your picture is the only one that turned out of us trying to hold the Olympic torch & you can't even see it in this scanned picture:( I will have to try and edit it a little in Photo Shop.

Who could forget Henry the Hand! He had to have the best job...hanging out by the porta pottys all day long! GROSS!! AND-Last but not least, this is the pamphlet that was handed to me as we were walking around-so funny! I can't believe I still have it!
