Everything was SO beatutiful & I was so happy for such a wonderful occasion!! Deffinitely a memory I won't forget!

Flashback Friday

Speaking of the Stardust Lounge  . . .

(Ok - I've been so excited about Flashback Friday ALL WEEK! haha)

Did we even have anywhere fun to go all dressed up like this for Halloween?   A party?  Anything?  I just remember dressing up and how much fun that was.  Leslie - it looks like I drew that mustache on your face or photoshopped it!  You are so creative to come up with that pipe cleaner mustache idea!! And you even have a pocket watch! haha

And Shan - your make up is so cool!  Who did it?  hehehehe  wink wink

We're fun.

For the love of Friends

Ok so I was watching this the other night and started to laugh out loud. It reminds me of all of our days of watching Friends in the apartment on 5th North in Provo. What was that place called? The one with the spiral staircase.

I couldn't find the right clip so you'll have to fast forward and watch from 3:12 to 4:43. Chandlers face is hilarious. If you haven't seen this episode it's super funny!

it NEVER ENDS!!

Ok I swear to you I've been scrapping my January '07 trip to Disneyland FOREVER.  And it never ends!!!  I have purposely been trying to get it done, but I swear, there is no end in sight. Ok, I just went in and added them up, and just from these 3 days at Disneyland, back in Jan. '07, I already have 23 pages!  That is ridiculous. And I'm shoving TONS of pictures on a page, and I'm not scrapping EVERYTHING. Just the good pictures that I love. Ok - so that's nearly all, but I'm trying to be picky!!  But this album IS going to rock by the time it's done, even though it will take you hours to look through! haha

Here's one I did tonight.  Oh crap.  I just realized it's missing its date.  Gotta go fix it on my final copy!

I keep thinking I must be getting close to finishing this trip, but then I look through and realize I still have so many dang photos left!!! What the heck!? It wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't been 5 times since then. With another trip coming up in a month and half! I'll never scrap my way out of my Disneyland hole!!!!

On a positive note - I order two scrapbooks from JoAnn.com. They didn't have black ones in the store. They are 30% off and I LOVE the EZ Snap closure system. Here's the one I got. Cute huh? I also ordered a BUNCH of my recent pages to be printed at Costco. If you go in and tell them you want the 12x12 discounted price, they give you 3 for 4.99! Because a 12x36 is actually $4.99 but you have to go in and do it. It's not available online. But that's a good deal!

I decided I was sick of scrapping so much but never getting prints made to enjoy. So I'm going to start making books and start enjoying my work dang it! :) hehe

So - that's what I've been up to. Getting my scrapbook pages printed!

Guess who has a new calling!!

Josh and I got called to the nursery today.  It's our first time in the nursery officially (I think I've subbed before).  We accepted the calling after sacrament meeting and two minutes later we were on the floor of the nursery playing with kiddos.

I thought it was pretty fun.  Tiring, but fun.  Josh thought it was a little too wild.  We had twelve kids today, and 6 adults.  So - its not bad.  One of the other teachers (a man) played some REALLY rowdy wild game with the kids that surprised me!  But I guess they are going to start rotating us out on a monthly basis so that we can still attend relief society and priesthood.  I don't really know exactly how that will work, but I'm just loving that we have a calling together.

Ethan's Halloween Costume

So this will be the first year that I get to dress up Ethan and go trick-or-treating. Last Halloween we brought him home from the hospital so we didn't do much. I've been trying it find the perfect costume of him and then Jared suggested that we dress him like a little golfer. I thought this was the pefect idea but figured it would take a lot of work and that we'd have to make the costume. Well I was wrong look at this super cute costume! Ethan is going to be so freaking cute!!!

Does Satan Wear Camoflage?

So we have not been to church for the past 3 Sundays-that's right-the entire month of August so far! We were frantically trying to move the first weekend & were EXHAUSTED, Matt had drill the second week (I thought about going but decided against trying to wrangle all 3 kids during sacrament meeting), & last week Matt was whisked away to Kansas to help another unit administer their urinalysis. I was so looking forward to attending church today & had everything planned out so that we could be on time & have a nice Sunday together. WRONG! I wake up to the sound of Matt's phone & continue to hear it as it received text messages about every 5 minutes!! Apparently another unit was doing their urinalysis today & could not possibly manage without Matt's help. GGGRRrrrr---R! Come on people how hard is it to pee in a cup? He left at about 8:15 & told me he would be as quick as he could. To make a long story short...the kids and I waited around as the first two hours of church ticked by & Matt finally got home at 10:50. He threw his church clothes on & we zoomed off to church with enough time to catch the last hour. So my question is: does Satan wear camouflage?? It sure seems like we are being kept from church a lot lately due to the MILITARY!! Oh yea & did I mention that he is leaving again today? This time to California-and yes-it is for work. I guess I should learn to live the Army wife life.

More Friday Flashback

I found this random picture in a stack and had to show you guys. I totally remember playing Simpsons Monopoly in a car.  I feel like maybe we were at the airport?  But who's car is this?  And why were we playing in it at the airport?  Did I make the airport thing up?

I know I have more pictures of this too, but I can't find my albums or scrapbooks.  I think they are in a box buried in my mess of a den.  It's my goal to make some sense of that room tomorrow.  We'll see if it actually happens.  What do you guys remember about this photo?

(Oh - and isn't it a great photo?  Matt's face is half cut off and mine almost is! haha)

Flashback Friday!

I couldn't help myself, I just had to post all 3 of these photos. HA! They make me laugh! Enjoy!

The Bus

We went camping last week with my family and for entertainment we brought Ethan's little Bus. It's this toy that you can either sit on or push it from behind. Ethan loves to push it but my neice always wanted to have a turn so my mom had this great idea...

Memory: Drive In Movie

So, I love to sit around with family or friends & reminisce about old memories. I thought it would be fun to randomly take turns posting about a memory & the people who aren't the "posters" can add what they remember about that occasion in the comments. (if they have anything to add that is) oh-and it doesn't have to be a memory that includes all 3 of us-cause I am sure you guys have plenty of fun memories to share when you were roomies!! oh-one last thing-try to post a pic if you have one.
This is when we went to a Drive-In together & I think we took Britt's family wagon! (The suburban) I actually don't remember a whole lot about this night & am hoping you two will be able to spark my memory. I'm pretty sure we were at the Art City Drive-In in Springville, but I don' t even remember what movie we saw?? I do remember having fun & that is my pillow in the back ground -it has Mickey Mouse on it-he is skiing!!

Our Love Sac Doesn't Love US!

So - one day Josh and I went to plop down in our giant 6' Love Sac, and a bunch of foam FLEW out of the little vents. We knew this could not be good. We opened the outter cover to find that the inner cover which holds all the foam bits had come unzipped somehow and was now ALL OVER inside our outter cover.

This Saturday we decided to do our best to fix the problem. We took off the outer cover and brushed it off as best as possible. Our cover is knit (like a sweatshirt material) so the foam clung to it like crazy. This was the messiest most annoying job EVER!!

We picked up all of the big pieces by hand and shoved it back in that stupid sac and zipped it up tight. I put a safety pin under the zipper so it can't come down again. If you have a Love Sac, I suggest you do the same!!!

Then we had to vacuum up all the tiny pieces that were all over.

And then vacuum off the sac itself.

Our cool soft blue outter cover was a lost cause. I tried washing and drying it but after two cycles its still got little pieces all over it. It's like an old sweater that needs to be shaved. I think we have to throw it away. Which TOTALLY BLOWS because those things are friggin' expensive! Luckily we have this nylon "all-weather" one that came free with the sac, so at least we have something to cover it in the mean-time.

It was a MESSY frustrating annoying task. But at least its done now. Don't you just love spending your time on stuff like that!?

"I can't wait that long!"

This has become one of Trinity's favorite things to say & it usually drives me crazy because she says it so much! BUT-I know how she feels because I am getting really excited to start this blog, but I am thinking, "I can't wait that long!" :) Are we almost ready to start?
