I found this recipe for old-school macaroni & cheese on this amazing blog (that has soooo many delicious recipes BTW) and I about cried it was so good. I've never understood the word "comfort" food until eating this mac & cheese. So not healthy - but HOLY CRAP its delicious.
I made it on Monday with BBQ chicken on the grill.
You've GOT to try it. And then you will love me after.
